Lemon Essential Oil

The Lemon Essential Oil is used for multi-purposes and contains many benefits. It is a powerful cleansing agent that can be used to clean surfaces and purify the air. It can be used as a hypoallergenic cleaner at home.

They are commonly added to foods such as desserts, main dishes to enhance the flavor of the dishes. Lemon essential oil provides digestives and cleansing effects while supporting a healthy respiratory function when taken internally. When used in aromatherapy, it is best shown to improve mood, provide uplifting, deter exhaustion, and improve depression.

Terpenes are found in significant proportions inside the lemon essential oil which makes it a strong and powerful decongestant kind of essential oil.  Essential oils that are rich in terpenes typically have a high amount of vitamin C like our citrus essential oil and help to strengthen the immune system.

Uses:

• You can take it internally to assist with respiratory discomfort.
• Aromatherapy for an uplifting scent and environment
• You can use a cloth soaked in lemon essential oil, wipe your furniture, and any other leather surfaces or garments to preserve and maintain it.
• Dilute the lemon essential oil with water, spray it and clean your table, countertops, and any other surfaces. It is an excellent polish for furniture; you can add few drops of olive oil to help protect the after the shine of the wood finishes.

Use Direction:

• Diffusion (Aromatherapy Purposes): Use three to four drops in the nebulizer of the diffuser of your choice. Make sure you are in a well-ventilated area & limit your aromatherapy session to 30 minutes.
• Topical use (Application to Skin): Always dilute the lemon essential oil with a carrier oil to minimize skin sensitivity reactions and allergies.
• Good practice to always test the mixture on your hand before application onto your face. If you see redness or irritation, do not use the mix.
• To avoid any skin damages, make sure to clean away the lemon oil before exposing yourself to the sun.
