Tea tree essential oil, also known as Melaleuca, is well known for its high purifying and antiseptic properties. They are commonly used to clean surfaces, cleansing skin, and have massive abilities to treat wounds. In addition, it is one of the highest-ranked antibacterial essential oil in the world.

Tea tree essential oil is extracted from a small tree or kind of like a shrub with needle leaves. They are domestically known as ti-tree.

The small tree can grow as high up to seven meters in height and thrives exceptionally well in marshy areas, though they are now cultivated in plantations.

Tea tree essential oil is extracted mainly from a Native Australian plant known as Melaleuca Alternifolia. It is used throughout the world for the past centuries, with research backing it up well to kill viruses, bacteria, and fungi strains.

Tea tree oil blends well with lavender, clary sage, rosemary, pine, ylang-ylang, geranium, spice oils, clove, and nutmeg.

Tea tree essential oil is best known for its purifying properties. They help to cure acne, athlete’s foot, dandruff, and herpes. Tea tree essential oils are used by the Aboriginal people of Australia for many centuries. They crush the leaves and apply the crushed leaves directly onto the skin to produce a cooling effect.

Tea tree and West Indian bay oil are commonly used in commercial shampoos for greasy hair improvement.

It can be used to cleanse and purify the skin and nails and to support a healthy-looking complexion. Tea Tree is used on occasional skin irritations to soothe the skin and diffusing Tea Tree will help purify and freshen the air.

For occasional skin irritations, apply 1–2 drops of Tea Tree essential oil onto the affected area.
Combine 1–2 drops with your facial cleanser for added cleansing properties, or apply to the skin after shaving.
Apply to fingernails and toenails after showering to purify and keep nails looking healthy.
Add a few drops to a spray bottle with water and use them on surfaces as a cleansing and purifying agent.

Directions for use

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
