Aldehydes comprise three main parts of lemongrass and citronella essential oils, mainly used for their anti-inflammatory effects. When used in aromatherapy, lemongrass essential oil possesses stimulating, calming, and anti-depressant properties and has traits that relax and balance.

The use of Lemongrass essential oils extends miles beyond the kitchen. They are often used as an air fresheners for a variety of purposes, including:

Directions to use:

  • Aromatherapy (Diffusions): Drip two to five drops of Lemongrass essential oils into the nebulizers or the diffusers of your choice.
  • Topical use: Drip a few drops into a carrier oil and dilute it, such as Jojoba, Avocado, Argan carrier oils. The dilution with a carrier oil before application to the skin minimizes skin sensitivity. It is good to follow a 1:4 dilution ratio, one drop essential to four drops carrier ratio.
  • Do not use undiluted on skin.
